Todd Bloniarz

Since 1996, Todd has broadcast everything from Tufts University athletics on WMFO radio and JumboCast, to NESCAC and NCAA championships on D3Cast. Over the years he has called a variety of men’s and women’s collegiate sports including football, baseball, softball, ice hockey, basketball, soccer and lacrosse.

Prior to calling college games, Todd spent four years as the play-by-play voice for Belmont High School sports on the town's cable access channel. He is still currently involved with the Belmont Media Center as producer and host of Time Out for Sports Talk, a live call-in show. Since Time Out debuted in 1994, Todd has been honored five times as an outstanding access producer by Nashoba Cable, Cablevision, AT&T Broadband and Comcast.

He previously worked as a freelance sports production assistant at NECN and currently serves as the public address announcer for men's and women's ice hockey at UMass-Boston.

Going back to his own college days at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, Todd spent three years as a sportswriter and two years as sports editor of The Scarlet, the school newspaper.

In 2003 Todd was not only fortunate enough to call the final out of Tufts pitcher Jon Lee's no-hitter vs. Bates on JumboCast, but six months later called the bottom of the fifth inning of the Red Sox 6-5, 10-inning win over the Baltimore Orioles on NESN with Jerry Remy and Don Orsillo, the result of winning the Sam Adams 'Announcer for an Inning' Contest. The game was marked by a 2-out, 3-run game-tying HR from Todd Walker in the last of the ninth, followed by a game-winning blast from David Ortiz in the tenth (Todd’s inning included an RBI sacrifice fly by Walker which scored Doug Mirabelli on a close play at the plate).

Todd has been a passionate sports fan since his youth, and he brings that fervor and enthusiasm to every webcast he works.
